Missions are incentives that offer you additional opportunities to earn, most commonly by completing a certain number of deliveries in a set period of time or by getting an extra dollar amount on each delivery. Missions are periodically offered to eligible delivery partners in the Earnings tab of their app, where they’ll need to “Start Mission” in order to participate.


What are some examples of Missions I might see?

Missions may be offered on the order level or the trip level. Mission requirements and rewards can widely vary, but below are some examples of Missions you could see:


  • Earn an extra $20 for completing 5 orders within the listed timeframe.

  • Earn an extra $10 for completing 3 trips within the listed timeframe.

  • Earn an extra $40 for completing 5 trips within the listed timeframe. Must maintain a Mission acceptance rate of 80% or above to redeem reward.

  • Earn an extra $2 on every order during the listed timeframe.

  • Earn an extra $4 on every trip during the listed timeframe.

Some missions require you to maintain a specific Mission Acceptance Rate AND complete a certain number of trips or orders.

Your Mission Acceptance Rate is the percentage of trips you accept out of the total trips offered during the mission. This updates in real time while the mission is active, and you can track it in the Mission details. Once you complete the required trips/orders or the mission ends (whichever comes first), your Mission Acceptance Rate stops updating.

Your Weekly Acceptance Rate, on the other hand, is calculated as the percentage of trips you accepted out of all trips offered during the past week. It’s updated weekly and available in your Weekly Summary—it doesn’t change in real time or apply to specific missions. 

If a mission includes an acceptance rate requirement, you’ll need to meet both the trip/order goal and the Mission Acceptance Rate threshold to earn the reward. For example, a mission might ask you to complete 10 trips while maintaining an 80% Mission Acceptance Rate.

Let’s say you are invited to the following Mission: 

"Earn an extra $40 when you complete 10 trips from 12pm - 8pm today and maintain a Mission Acceptance Rate of 80% or above."

Let’s say you received a total of 15 trip offers during the Mission. Your Mission Acceptance Rate is calculated based on the first 10 trips offered, since 10 is the Mission goal. If you accept at least 8 out of the first 10 trips offered, you earn the $40 reward!

In this case, your Mission Acceptance Rate would stop updating once you met the trip goal, even if it was before 8pm. 

In many cases, you’ll need to actively opt-in to a Mission to be eligible for the reward.

To opt-in to a Mission:

  1. Go to the Earnings tab in the app

  2. Toggle to Available missions

  3. Click on the Mission you’d like to opt in to

  4. Click “Start Mission

Sometimes, you may be automatically opted into a Mission. When this happens, you’ll still get notified that you have a Mission available, but you won’t have to click Start Mission to opt in. 

When a new Mission is available to you, you can find it in the Earnings tab of your app under the Available toggle. For those who are opted into push notifications, you’ll also receive a push notification every time a new Mission is available to you. You can view details about your active Missions by clicking into each Mission in your Earnings tab. 

If you’re eligible to participate in a Mission, you’ll see it in the Mission portal in your Earnings tab. Remember, in most cases you must actively opt in to the Mission in order to participate. To opt in, go to Available Missions in your Earnings tab and click Start Mission. Missions are personalized, so it’s possible that two partners who deliver from the same facility will see different Missions available to them at any given time.

Missions are sent to delivery partners based on additional criteria other than geographical location (e.g., new delivery partners, long time delivery partners, etc.) So if you do not get invited to a certain Mission, there may be a different one for you later on!

If you don’t complete the specified requirements for the Mission you started, you will not earn the reward for that Mission. However, you are not required to complete a Mission you’ve started, and there is no penalty for not doing so. Missions exist solely to offer additional earning opportunities to delivery partners. 

When you get paid for a Mission depends on the type of Mission. For boosts, you can instantly cash out your earnings after the boosted trip or order is completed. For other types of Missions, you’ll be able to cash out your earnings after the Mission ends and you’ve met all of the completion criteria. 

You can see your active Missions in two places: on the Home tab and the Earnings tab in your app. If you want to see what additional Missions are available to you, you can toggle to “Available” on the Earnings tab. To see your full Missions History, click Missions History on the Earnings tab.

If an order is canceled after you make a reasonable attempt to make the delivery, you’ll still be compensated for the original amount of that order, and that order will still count towards your current Mission. Some examples of this include:

  • When an age-gated order is canceled because you could not successfully verify the customer’s age

  • When an order is canceled because you’re unable to locate the customer's address or reach/contact the customer contact orders

  • When an order is canceled because the customer appears intoxicated

You will be able to track your progress against an active Mission in the Missions portal, which can be accessed from the Home screen or the Earnings screen. Make sure to tap into the Mission to view the full Mission details and to track your progress.
