1099 Tax Forms FAQ

You should have received an email from Stripe (express@stripe.com) with instructions about how to confirm your tax information and tax information delivery preference (e-delivery or mail). Regardless of your delivery preference, it's important that you verify both your email address and postal address with Stripe to ensure tax forms are sent to the right place.
For faster access to your tax documents, you can set your delivery preference to electronic "e-delivery". Please confirm your information using the link provided in the email from Stripe. You’ll be asked to create a Stripe Express account and confirm your information is up to date to receive your 1099 form for the tax year.
If you're eligible to receive a 1099 tax form, you'll receive an email notification by January 31st, 2025. If you enable e-delivery, you’ll be able to access your 1099 tax form immediately, as soon as it’s available. Otherwise, paper forms will be delivered by February 15th, 2025.
