Hot Streak Overview
Updated
Hot Streak 🔥
Hot Streak is a feature in your Driver App that rewards you for accepting consecutive trip offers. The more offers you accept in a row, the higher your Hot Streak. Maintaining your Hot Streak helps you get prioritized for upcoming offers.
UPDATE: Back in September, we temporarily paused the prioritization benefits of Hot Streaks so we could make improvements based on driver feedback. We are relaunching a new and improved Hot Streaks in mid-late October. Keep an eye on our in-app announcements!
What's New
Previously, prioritization was based on absolute streak numbers, meaning a delivery partner with a 10-streak always came before someone with a 9-streak. In reality, both deserve to be rewarded!
Now, once you hit the Hot Streak threshold at the site you’re delivering from, you’ll enter a priority tier, where all streaked drivers are prioritized equally. From there, offers go to whoever has been waiting the longest. This makes prioritization fairer and gives more delivery partners a chance to keep moving.
We’ve introduced new rules that make it easier for delivery partners without a streak (or with a low streak) to re-enter the offer pool. If you’re online and on-site waiting for an offer and a certain amount of time passes (the exact time varies by site), you’ll automatically be moved back into the pool, so you’ll never be stuck waiting too long.
This rule only applies while you’re on-site and online. If you go offline or leave the area, the timer resets.
How it works
Accept an offer → your Hot Streak goes up by 1.
Keep accepting → your Hot Streak keeps growing.
Reject, let expire, or unassign an offer → your Hot Streak resets to 0 (in most cases).
Additive offers (extra offers added on top of an active offer while you’re on your way back) don’t affect your streak. Accepting, rejecting, or expiring them won’t change it.
Going offline does not reset your streak. Your Hot Streak persists across delivery sessions and locations.
Examples
You accept 3 offers in a row → Hot Streak = 3
You accept 5 offers in a row, then reject the 6th → Hot Streak resets to 0.
You reject an additive offer on top of an offer you've already accepted → your Hot Streak is not affected.
